Wayth Property & Asset Management was founded in 2024 by Michelle Gaffaney, bringing together more than 37 years of hands-on experience across property, operations, and construction. Based in West Yorkshire, we work with owners, investors, and developers across the country who want a more reliable, results-driven approach to managing their assets.
Throughout her career, Michelle worked closely with buildings at every stage of their lifecycle. Over time, a pattern emerged. Assets weren't struggling because of major failures, they were underperforming because of small details being overlooked, communication that wasn't clear enough, and management that was reactive rather than planned.
Wayth was built to change that. We provide a structured, proactive approach to managing properties and assets. Our focus is on clarity, accountability, and protecting the long-term value of every building.
Every asset is treated as if it were our own. We stay close to the details, think ahead, and work alongside our clients to protect what they’ve built and make their investments perform better over time.
MEET MICHELLE
Michelle Gaffaney is an architectural designer, property developer, and hospitality owner with extensive experience in property and asset management. Over the years, she has worked on a wide range of projects, from boutique aparthotels and residential builds to commercial-to-residential conversions, large HMOs, co-living spaces, and rental portfolios focused on long-term growth.
She is the founder of Greenstone Design, specialising in architectural design, Northern Lion, a property investment company, and Wayth Hotels, which includes The Briarcroft and The Civic Hall. Her work has taken her across the globe, designing, building, and running assets with a hands-on, practical approach.
Wayth is named after her son, Matthew, reflecting her focus on legacy and lasting value. Everything she builds, manages, and oversees is designed to stand the test of time, creating something her family — and her clients — can rely on for years to come.
